About Shop Butcher Paper
We quote, proof and ship butcher paper in pink, white and brown kraft, by the roll or the sheet, plain or printed with your logo.
What we do
We quote, proof, print and ship butcher paper. That is the whole business: pink, white and brown kraft, by the roll or cut to sheets, liners and bags. Plain, or printed with a logo in food-safe inks.
The buyers are US food businesses. Smokehouses and BBQ caterers take most of the pink. Butcher shops and meat markets take white. Delis, sandwich counters and food trucks take kraft and most of the printed work.
A typical ticket is one roll width and one color, or a sheet size and a count. A typical printed job is a one-color logo on kraft or pink, repeated across the sheet so it shows however the wrap is folded.
What we do not do
We do not make the base paper. The 40 lb stock comes from paper mills, and we convert and print it. We do not sell foil, film, parchment, boxes or anything that is not butcher paper.
We do not run an online shop. There is no retail pack and no price to click. Every order starts with a written quote, and most start with a form that says what you wrap.
We do not take orders below 1,000 sheets or 1 roll, and we do not deliver outside the US. Both limits keep the pricing simple, and we would rather say so here than on the quote.
How an order is handled
One person reads your ticket and prices it, in writing, within one business day. If the paper is printed, the same person passes the file to prepress, who place the logo and send a proof. You change it as often as you need, and it costs nothing until you approve it.
Production runs 4 to 6 business days from approval. Rolls are slit and rewound to length, sheets are cut and boxed, and the carton goes out tracked, free, to any US address.
If something is wrong when it lands, photos within 10 days get it reprinted or refunded. That is the full set of promises, and every one of them is on the quote in writing.
Why a small team is the point
The person who quotes your order is the one who answers the phone about it. There is no sales desk handing you to a studio handing you to a plant. Ask about a width or a coating and you get the answer from someone who has cut that paper.
It also means we say no when a job will not work. Two colors on kraft, 6 pt type on a repeat, a 48 in roll for a counter dispenser. We tell you before the proof, not after the delivery.
And it means we remember. A reorder is a one-line email, because the last proof, the last size and the last delivery address are all still on the thread.
How to reach us
Phone (503) 461-4788, WhatsApp on the same number, or info@shopbutcherpaper.com. We are at the desk Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm Pacific, and reply to everything within one business day.
If you already know what you need, the written quote request form is the fastest route. If you do not, call and describe what you wrap and how much of it goes out in a week.

Questions about us
Do you make the paper yourselves?
No. The base stock comes from paper mills that make 40 lb butcher paper. We print on it, cut it, rewind it and ship it.
Do you sell to home cooks?
The minimum is 1,000 sheets or 1 roll, which suits a business more than a kitchen. A home pitmaster who wants a full roll is welcome, though.
Do you sell anything besides butcher paper?
No. Rolls, sheets, liners and bags of butcher paper in three colors, plain or printed, and that is the whole catalog.
Who does the design work on a printed order?
Our prepress team. You send a logo; they set the placement, the repeat and the ink separation and send a proof. The proof and its edits are free.
Can I talk to the same person each time?
Usually, yes. The team is small enough that whoever quoted the first order recognizes the second. Reply on the same email thread and it lands with them.
What do you not do?
We do not sell foil, film, parchment or plastic. We do not print on anything but butcher paper, and we deliver only to US addresses.
Why is there no street address on the site?
Orders are quoted and proofed by email and shipped to you, so there is no counter to visit. Phone, WhatsApp and email reach the same people.
Are your inks really meant for food contact?
Yes. Every printed job runs in soy and water-based inks made for paper that touches food. We use no solvent inks on butcher paper.
Do you work with distributors or only end users?
Both. A restaurant group or a distributor ordering for several sites gets one quote with a line per site. Each carton can ship to its own address.
How do I know an order is being handled?
Every step comes with an email: the quote, the proof, the invoice and the tracking number. If a business day passes in silence, something is stuck and a call sorts it. The help page on ordering lists the steps in order.

Tell us what you wrap
Send the paper, a size and a quantity, plus a logo if you have one. We reply in writing within one business day with a price and, for printed paper, a free design proof. Prefer to talk? Call (503) 461-4788 or message us on WhatsApp.
