When is someone at the phone?
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm Pacific. Outside those hours leave a voicemail or send a WhatsApp message and it is answered the next business morning.
Which is faster, WhatsApp or email?
WhatsApp during business hours, email for anything with a file or a size list. Both get a reply within one business day; WhatsApp usually gets one within the hour while we are open.
Can I come by and look at the paper in person?
No. There is no walk-in counter or showroom. Ask on your quote about a swatch of the stock you are considering and we will say what we can send.
What should a first message include?
What you wrap, the paper color, a size if you know it and a rough monthly quantity. With those four things we can price it on the first reply.
Can I call about an order that is already in production?
Yes. Have the quote number from the email subject line ready and we can tell you where the job sits that day.
Do you call back, or only reply by email?
Both. If you leave a number and ask for a call, someone calls during Pacific business hours. Prices and proofs still go out by email so there is a written record.
Is the phone number the same for WhatsApp?
Yes. (503) 461-4788 works as a voice line and as a WhatsApp number. The green button on every page opens a chat to it.
Who answers: a salesperson or someone who knows paper?
The people who quote and proof the orders. There is no separate sales desk, so the person on the line can answer a width or a coating question directly.
Can I send my artwork through the contact form?
The contact form is for questions. Attach the file on the quote form with its upload, or email it to info@shopbutcherpaper.com and mention it in your message.
I messaged on a weekend and heard nothing. What now?
Nothing is lost. Weekend messages sit in the queue and are answered on Monday morning in the order they arrived.
